SRS : Primary
SRS : Primary is a modular, web-based, school reporting suite which currently consists of an Annual Reporting System (ARS) and an Assessment Tracking System (ATS).
ARS enables school teachers and administrators to efficiently and effectively prepare, analyse and manage the production of annual reports. It allows parents and pupils to input their comments on the reporting process over the internet and delivers an estimated saving of 40-50% of the time teachers spend compiling reports each academic year.
ATS tracks the actual progress of a child throughout his or her time at school. The system enables the teachers and administrators to efficiently and effectively prepare, analyse and manage the production of continuous pupil assessment reports.
Even with the 2009/2010 UK Government requirements for parent and pupil interaction with the reporting process, SRS : Primary should save teachers the equivalent of 6 – 7½ days per 30 pupil class when compiling annual reports and 2 days per 30 pupil class when compiling each class continual assessment. Continual assessments are completed every term or half term, making the total teacher time saved by SRS: Primary up to approximately 12 – 13½ days a year.
As a web-based system SRS : Primary also solves the current all too common problem of lost or corrupted data as draft reports are transferred between teachers, year heads, school heads and administrators.
SRS : Primary also generates clear performance graphs, giving an instant view of pupil, class and school performance against both national targets and past performance in the core curriculum subjects (literacy, numeracy and science).
