SRS : Secondary is a web-based Tracking and Reporting Suite for Secondary Schools. It is easy to use and enables parents, pupils and teachers to quickly and easily participate in the reporting process at any time, from any location, over the internet. Additionally, SRS : Secondary simplifies the tracking process, saving teacher time and increasing school efficiency.
- How Do Users Access SRS : Secondary?
It's easy. Every user simply goes to their-school-name.schoolreports.eu and logs on with a user name and password provided by the school IT coordinator.
- Do I Need a Powerful IT Infrastructure in My School for SRS : Secondary?
No. We'll host SRS : Secondary for you on one of our dedicated, secure servers, removing the need for you to worry about the 'back end' aspects.
- Does anyone in my school need special IT training to use SRS : Secondary?
No. If you can use a computer and are happy logging on to the internet, SRS : Secondary should be intuitive to use on a day-to-day basis.
The System Administrator (usually your school IT Coordinator) who sets up and customises SRS : Secondary for your school requires slightly more confidence with computers, but he or she should already have all the knowledge required. There's a detailed Manual and the cost includes 12 months support to make sure you are getting the best out of the system.
- Can Teachers Update Their Reports From Home Using SRS : Secondary?
Of course. All they need is a computer and an internet connection.
- What are the Component Parts of SRS : Secondary?
SRS : Secondary consists of two modules ATS (the Annual Tracking System) and ARS (the Annual Reporting System). Both ATS and ARS are excellent generators of detailed pupil performance data which are easily viewable as charts.
- How Do Parents & Pupils Contribute to Reports?
Over the internet. All they need is a password and user name from the school – it's as easy as logging on to an email account.
- What Sort of Charts Does SRS : Secondary Generate?
Easy-to-read bar charts showing pupil, class, year group and school progress against national targets and past performance.
- What About All The Reporting Data that the School Already Holds?
Don't worry. If you have spreadsheet files (such as Access and Excel) your old reporting data can be quickly and simply up-loaded into SRS : Secondary.
- Is SRS : Secondary Complicated to Set Up?
Not at all. We'll host it for you, so there are no installation worries. Configuring SRS : Secondary to your particular needs should only take a couple of hours, and of course we're here to help if you need us. Once installed, using the system is so simple and intuitive that it really doesn't require training.
- Is SRS : Secondary Reliable & Secure?
Yes! Pages are encrypted using the same https technology that the banks use and there are regular back-ups of your system.

- Do I Need An In-School MIS (Management Information System) to Use SRS : Secondary?
No. You simply in-put your reporting data.
- But I've Already Got An In-School MIS (Management Information System) Have I Wasted My Money?
No. School Management Systems are for school management, SRS : Secondary is all about tracking and reporting. But it will incorporate some of the data in your management system (such as pupil names) so that data doesn't have to be entered twice.

Yes! SRS : Secondary is pre-loaded with all the relevant P Levels and fully customisable to any special curriculum requirements.

- My School has Pupils at Foundation and Key Stages 1 and 2 and Key Stages 3 and 4 – Which Product Do I Need?
You need both SRS : Foundation for the foundation pupils, SRS : Primary for Key Stages 1 and 2 and SRS : Secondary for Key Stages 3 and 4 – but don't worry there's a discount scheme for schools buying more than one SRS product at the same time. Please see the Prices page.
- Can the different SRS products (Foundation, Primary and Secondary) be integrated into a single product for schools with pupils of all ages?
No, because the underlying databases and reporting requirements are different. But the 'look and feel' of all three products is similar, so (for example) a head teacher reviewing performance on SRS : Foundation would be immediately familiar with SRS : Secondary.
